MY WORK EXPERIENCE

I was given the opportunity to work for Southern view finance limited, which is a holding company to support the growth and geographical expansion of the Capfin brand ( a regulated consumer lending company). Capfin was founded in South Africa with a vision to provide customers with affordable loan products and services.

I was involved with helping the chief operating officer (COO) and marketing team to assist with raising Capfins profile in the UK. I helped design the companies logo by giving ideas on the colour scheme, font, etc. I then helped editing the logo on photoshop as I have had experience with the software when editing my own photographs. The result as shown below.

I also helped to advertise the company by travelling to Willenhall and was involved in purchasing merchandise that could be used to market the company. I was also assist to giving ideas for designing the welcome page for the companies website and the letter head template. As shown below.

During this experience, I gained a lot of knowledge on how a company works around their brands design and how it effects the companies representation as a whole. It was through this experience I decided to pursue a career in marketing.
